Mark your calendar for the Chestnut Hill Community Holiday Parade, Dec. 13th, 9am (sharp) to 10am. It begins at Chestnut Hill Avenue and ends at Market at Fareway (behind the Chestnut Hill Hotel). Musicians, community groups, and antique cars will parade down Germantown Avenue, led by Philadelphia’s Mounted Police Unit, Chestnut Hill’s Fire Company Engine 37, Wyndmoor Volunteer Fire Hose #1 and, everyone’s favorite, the Philly Phanatic.
More than 325 marchers representing local schools, sports groups, 4-H clubs, scout troops and sporting clubs are participating. The parade ends at Market at Fareway with musical performances around its outdoor fireplace. Join in the caroling and hymns! There will be treats, and Santa will pose for photos with the children.
